It is essential to keep your bike well maintained. Like most things mechanical, bikes need to be maintained and serviced regularly in order to keep things working efficiently.

A well-serviced bike will not only ride better but also extends the operating life of key components.

Our fully equipped workshop carries out all repairs and servicing by experienced technicians.

We service most makes and types of bikes, whether purchased from us or elsewhere.

When you purchase a bike from our online eBay shop, we don't send your bicycle out to you in a box for you to try and put together. We assemble and then test the bike.

We then repackage, and dispatch your bike to you in a packing box. 

This means that you don't have to tackle building your bike from lots of parts. In some instances you may have to fit the pedals and straighten the handlebars. The front wheel may  be removed on some large bikes.

We can

pre-delivery inspection of bikes purchased elsewhere.

BASIC SERVICE

• Check and adjust front and rear cable / rod operated brakes (not hydraulic)
• Check and adjust front and rear gears (if fitted)
• Lubricate all cables
• Check and tighten crank bolts to correct settings
• Check and tighten wheel nuts (if not quick release) to correct settings
• Check and adjust tyre pressures
• Check tyre condition
• Check front and rear wheels for buckles etc
• Lubricate and adjust chain
• Clean, degrease, lubricate and adjust headset
• Check & adjust front and rear wheel cones
• Carry out general check over for wear & tear

COMPREHENSIVE FULL SERVICE

• High Pressure Steam Clean
• Check & adjust front & rear cable operated brakes (not hydraulic)
• Lubricate all cables
• Tighten crank bolts to correct torque settings
• Tighten wheel nuts (if not quick release) to correct torque settings
• Check & adjust tyre pressure
• Check front & rear wheels for buckles
• Clean / degrease & relubricate chain
• Remove/ strip / clean / lubricate / refit & readjust headset
• Clean / degrease & lubricate and adjust front & rear gear mechs
• Clean / degrease & lubricate rear cassette / freewheel
• Remove / clean / lubricate / refit & adjust front & rear wheel cones
• Remove / clean / lubricate / refit & adjust bottom bracket (if not sealed unit)
• Carry out general check over for wear and tear

In our fully equipped workshop we have two technicians carrying out repairs and servicing to your cycles.

We can carry out most repairs by next day, but please allow extra time during busy holiday periods.

We also carry out a FREE safety cycle check and provide an estimate for any work required.

Bikes booked in for work need to be reasonably clean.
